Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
Regardless of the method you chose to pay your water bill, we would like to remind all of our customers that your payment must be in the water office no later than the 16th of each month to avoid late fees. If the 16th happens to fall on a weekend or holiday, late fees are assessed at the opening of the next business day. This is of particular importance to those who have received a shut off notice. If you have mailed your bill or use online banking you may want to call the office to ensure payment has arrived and been posted to your account.
